Spirit Dance San Diego Transformational Movement Meditation

Come be a part of co-creating this incredible dance community in San Diego!

Each week we will gather for a light warm up, community opening circle, then dance, sweat and pray with the simple yet profound intention to be alive and present in our bodies with our tribe and allow all expression of the body, heart, mind and spirit to be expressed through sacred movement...for these 2 precious hours we allow the words to fall away and our body to express each truth of our being.

Finally we close as we begin...together.

Join us for a 3 week deep dive into the creative process of mandala making and self discovery.

*Ignite your inner artist! 
*Explore the ancient and archetypal form of the Mandala or Sacred Circle

*Express spiritual realities that cannot be expressed in words yet powerfully communicate through artistic expression
*Learn techniques that you can use again and again to create powerful self-reflecting and integrative original mandalas

*These three classes can be taken as a whole journey or individually. No previous experience necessary and materials always provided.

Aug 1- " The Sacred Om" Introduction to Mandala and the Evolutionary Opportunity of Art. Create a Stream of Consciousness Mandala with paint.

Aug 8 - "The Dance of Light and Dark" Encountering emptiness and blazing your path of Light. White prismacolor hand mandala on black artist paper.

Aug 15 - "The Temple of Mirrors" Expressing the Self in the World. Traditional radiating symmetry mandalas with paint and black sharpie.
 

 

 

 

 

 

 

A  7 week exploration of your power centers with intuitive movement,  meditation and art.  Discover the nature of your energy centers and how they govern different aspects of your being.  Learn the Tantric Keys to your best life.  Gently open and tune the chakras to receive the wisdom your bodyworld  holds for you.  We'll use movement, sound and color to elevate our experiences to the realm of art.
